In the year 1000, Norse explorers crossed the Atlantic and named a new continent Vinland. A thousand years later, we help people make the same crossing.
The name
The name Vinland comes from Norse history — it’s what the Viking explorers called the land they found when they crossed the Atlantic around the year 1000. Our logo, Yggdrasil, is the great tree from Norse mythology that connects all worlds.
We chose these symbols because they capture what we do: we help people cross from one world to another. It’s a significant journey, and it deserves guides who take it seriously.

Kari is a US-licensed attorney based in Frankfurt, Germany, with over a decade of experience in US immigration and global mobility. Originally from Austin, Texas, she came to Germany as an Alexander von Humboldt Scholar and has advised corporations across industries — including financial services, media, publishing, and retail — as well as families and high-net-worth individuals on the full spectrum of US visa categories.
